Over the last 200 years, blacksmiths have largely fallen into obscurity to be replaced with mass production from China. We want to change that and bring the blacksmiths back in fashion. We call it the blacksmiths of the 21st Century.
By using 3D-printing we can create a new world of playfulness and local production back to Norway.
The blacksmiths of Team Brokkr are Mads and Ap - with a combined 15 years of experience using 3D design tools and 3D-printing to bring designs to life and produce them locally from sustainable materials - all the way from soap dishes to 3D-printed houses.
Located in the Design Mekka of Oslo, we have a workshop with full production at Skøyen. Come visit us if you want to learn more about rapid prototyping, designing furniture for 3D-printing or if you have a really difficult problem you need to solve.
